A38 ship is to launch an exciting new musical series. Dutch collector DJ Maestro will provide the evergreen songs of Blue Note label, featuring highly professional jazz musicians. A gem among record labels, a pillar in the history of jazz, Blue Note Records asked Maestro to rethink and remix his favourite songs from albums released by the label. He was pleased to work on the project, gave a blood transfusion to the old, yet highly sophisticated songs, speeded them up, and, riding the retro wave they gained huge popularity. DJ Maestro has worked on four out of the six double albums within the series Blue Note Trip, while two were compiled and mixed by Jazzanova. Requests for live performances were coming in waves, and the idea of a club night was thus born, much appreciated by young jazz fans, who had been waiting for too long to be able to dance all night to quality and timeless music. This party is organised at the Amsterdam Melkweg on a weekly basis, with various musicians involved.

The first Budapest club night will host two Dutch musicians:  trumpet player Rik Mol and Hammond magician Sven Figee, featuring the musicians of Barabás Lőrinc Eklektric.
