Bramborry - Guest performance by the Theater De Spiegel and the Théâtre de la Guimbarde
A few jagged ornaments made from cardboard, three musicians, three saxophones. This is all that can be seen on stage. The performers playfully get to know one another, their environment and the world. Some of the performers are hidden by the ornaments, others are revealed, at every moment there is some possibility for play. The instruments initially play abrupt notes, then melt into melodies, slowly blossoming into music and ultimately relaxing into the joy of music making. There are no words, just music, which tells stories, flatters, attacks, tells jokes, is sad, frightened and happy. Both children and adults will identify with the entertaining slapstick thrown up between the unexpected situations.
The performance will be followed by creative educational activities at the Ludwig Museum.
